Medical Devices in Colombia - Market Research and Distributor Search Reports - November 2017
Elaboration of two reports for the Irish topical tissue adhesive company, Connexicon Medical. The report was tailored to the company product’s HS codes in order to evaluate the country’s potential. The Regulator Research report focused on specific requirements for entry into the Colombian market for Connexicon’s products, while the Market Report included a general country market overview, healthcare and medical devices market overview, import analysis based on HS codes and an opportunities section. It also outlined the best approach for market entry and a list of key resources and contacts in the industry. Potential interested local counterparts were identified through which Connexicon Medical could enter the local market. The specific niche market size was further estimated based on existing competitors and interviews with potential end users such as hospitals and surgeons.

Nine meetings were arranged with relevant potential distributors for a five-day stay in Bogotá, Cali and Barranquilla.
